分母:      疼痛に対する薬物治療を1ヵ月以上しているにもかかわらず、疼痛の訴えが続く患者数

根拠

 基本的な薬物治療により鎮痛の得られない患者が10~30%いる。専門緩和ケアサービスは、患者の疼痛の緩和に寄与することが示唆されている。標準的な鎮痛方法を用いても疼痛が得られない場合に専門サービスに紹介することは、複数のガイドラインで推奨されている。

 従って、がん性疼痛に対して薬物療法を1ヵ月以上行っても、緩和されない患者は緩和ケアチーム、ペインクリニック、麻酔科など専門スタッフにコンサルトされるべきである。
